Children's Health Victory
|
|
On February 4th, President
Obama signed in law the Children’s
Health Insurance Program Reauthorization
Act, which provides health insurance
to an estimated 11 million low-income
children. The new law reverses
a decade-long policy of enforcing
a five-year bar on legal immigrant
children & pregnant women

오바마 대통령은 2월 4일 어린이
건강보험법 재승인 법안에 최종
서명했습니다. 이 법안은 약 1천
1백만 명의 어린이들에게 의료
보험을 제공할 것입니다. 또한
이 법안은 영주권자 어린이와
임산부들이 미국에서 5년을 거주
해야만 보험 가입 자격이 된다는
조항을 삭제 해 혜택의 폭을 넓혔다는
점에서 그 의의가 큽니다.
